Naidu indirectly boosts ‘Separatist movement’ in AP!

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu indirectly boosts the Separatist movement in AP, by solely concentrating on Amaravati.

When the topic of Hyderabad is to be discussed about, a major portion of the credits would be going to Chandrababu Naidu, the then Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh. Even the oppositions cannot deny this fact.

He developed Hyderabad, by setting up, various industries, IT corridors, Indian School of Business, IIIT-Hyderabad and many more. But the point is, he set up all those in a single place called Hyderabad and made it a fine capital city.

This was taken negatively by the other areas of people and felt that, Naidu is showing the discrimination between the areas. It has been since then, the Telangana movement’s  voice was heard loud and started fighting for the separate state.

After the bifurcation of the Telugu states and Hyderabad had gone to Telangana, AP is left with nothing and had to start from the zero level. Till Amaravati capital completes its construction, AP people would find it tough to manage with the local status issue and other problems caused due to the bifurcation of the states.

Discrimination leads to separatist movement - Oppositions

All these issues took place, as Naidu completely concentrated on Hyderabad alone in the past. Now it seems he is making the same mistake with Amaravati too. Naidu has decided to centralize Amaravati, by setting up all the industries, IT corridors and all such developments, that he did in the past in Hyderabad.

This is again expected to show the discrimination, among the other areas of AP like Rayalaseema and thus boost them to fight for the separate state in the future.

When Naidu had decided to centralize Amaravati, Loksatta chief, Jaya Prakash Narayan has suggested to develop all the areas in AP equally, unlike just not sticking to Amaravati.

Even in the recent times, in a public meeting, YSRCP chief Jagan said, “We are not against the capital construction in AP. But there should be an equitable distribution of development activities. If solely concentrated on Amaravati, like he did in Hyderabad earlier, it may fuel unrest among people of other AP districts which is not good for the  state. But Naidu seems to be repeating the same mistake by focusing entire development in Amaravati.”

Whatever be the case, Naidu is going to develop Amaravati, as per the design of Singapore plan and Naidu has decided to make Amaravati, another Hyderabad.
