Domestic and foreign companies to back Amaravathi

To build the new capital of Andhra Pradesh at Amaravathi, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has decided to involve domestic and foreign construction companies too.

Yesterday, in Guntur, Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated an exhibition organized by AP Real Estate Development Association. Speaking to the meeting after inauguration, Naidu said that, the AP government would include private construction and real estate development companies in Amaravathi development.

Regarding this, an SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) would be floated with private construction companies. Naidu further assured that, along with the international companies, even the local companies would be as the partners in the capital construction.

Foundation stone for Amaravathi

Naidu said that, the foundation stone for Amaravathi would be laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 22nd. “The AP government will assure that, Amaravathi will be better than Hyderabad in all respects,” Naidu said.

Amaravathi: Land pooling scheme, compensation to farmers

“All the farmers who gave lands to the government under the land pooling scheme, would be benefitted by the government. AP farmers had created history by giving 33000 acres of land for the construction of a capital city at Amaravathi. The AP government will link all the existing ports and it will also build another 13 to 14 ports along the coastline of 945km,” Naidu said.

Amaravathi as logistics hub

“Due to the links with the developed countries like China, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia and North Korea, AP has every opportunity to become the largest logistics hub and will also become another gateway of India, due to the imports and exports from these ports in the future,” Naidu added.

Linking of roads to Amaravathi

“As of now, seven roads are linking to Amaravathi and in future, more roads would be connected to the capital city,” Naidu assured.

As said above, if the domestic companies also support, there would be more scope of development of the capital city and moreover the cost is expected to be less. Hope the mega project of Andhra Pradesh, which is going to be the future of the state comes out well.
