Hajj Stampede: Not 200, over 700 killed at Mina

The latest report said that, it is not just 200, but over 700 pilgrims are killed in Hajj Stampede, that took place at Mina in Mecca yesterday.
Along with the deaths, around 863 people are severely injured in the Hajj stampede. The injured pilgrims are shifted to the hospital and are currently undergoing the treatment.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia's crown prince, Prince Mohamed bin Nayef, ordered a probe into the stampede issue, to know about the reasons for such a huge number of deaths. He ordered for a probe, during a meet with the officials, who are responsible for the pilgrimage at Mina.

After investigating the issue properly, the findings will be submitted to King Salman, who will further take the required measures.

African nationalities are responsible for Hajj stampede

Reacting on the Hajj stampede issue, Central Hajj Committee head, Prince Khaled al-Faisal said that, such a horrifying stampede was happened only due to the African nationalities.
Iranian officials have said that, at least 43 Iranian nationals were killed in the Hajj stampede.

Survivors assessed the stampede scene, by climbing to the top of roadside stalls, as rescue workers in yellow and orange attires combed the area.

A civil defence spokesman said that, 220 ambulances and 4000 rescuers are taking part in providing the rescue services to the pilgrims, who are injured or dead in the stampede.
However, a few of the people opined that, the death toll may further rise, as the resue team is supposed to find more number of people. Many inured and dead people are over lying on one another in several places and are not that easy to rescue everyone at once.

The officials are striving in providing the best rescue services to save the maximum pilgrims from facing the bad fortune. However, the fate has to decide, where the situation leads to.
