Yesterday night in the late hours, a couple was attacked at Malakpet, Hyderabad, by the Chain snatchers, where the woman was finally left with severe head injuries in the hospital.

Chain snatchers issue is getting viral day by day. The thieves are not even sparing the areas like Malakpet, where the police stations are very near and easy to reach.

One such couple travelling on a bike was attacked yesterday. The chain snatchers tried to snatch the woman named Vardhanamma’s ‘mangalsutra’. Upon their trials, the woman fell down on the road and is suffering severe head injury.

Malakpet chain snatching case: Women condition is critical

Currently, the woman is admitted in Yashoda hospital and the doctors applied ten stitches on her head. Speaking to the media, the doctors said that, Vardhanamma’s condition is critical.

On the other side, a complaint was lodged in Chaderghat police station against the culprits and the police said that they are not going to spare the chain snatchers. The women welfare organizations came forward for Vardhanamma and demanded the government to punish the chain snatchers in the city critically.

Chain snatching: does not end with just losing the chain

It is not only Malakpet, in the recent times, there are many instances in Hyderabad, where the chain snatching cases went viral. But even then, there is no stop to these kinds of snatching attempts.
 
Chain snatching is not ending just with losing the chain, but it is injuring the women necks and heads and there are instances where such injured women even lost their lives.

So it would be better, if the government puts a special concentration on these types of cases and control as much as possible with unique initiatives.
