Maggi faces Rs. 320 crores loss in India

Due to the ban imposed on Maggi, the Nestle Company had to face Rs. 320 crores of loss from India alone.

On one side, the Nestle brand value is coming down and on the other side, due to the poison ingredients, the Maggi had to face a ban in India. The company destroyed Rs. 210 crores worth of Maggi noodles by withdrawing the stock from the country and another Rs. 100 crores worth of stock which was in the process of manufacture, was stopped from doing it.

The controversy of Maggi had to experience a huge influence on the shares of the company. Right from the withdrawing of the stock to the ban on Maggi, all the details are specified in the stock exchange by the Nestle Company.

The company specified that, the present loss experienced by the company is Rs. 320 crores. The cost incurred for destroying the banned noodles is more.

The Nestle Company is worried about the ban imposition, as it is the first of its kind to face the ban on the product, which is one of the most successful one from the past few decades. Presently it is making all special efforts to mould the product according to the Indian standards and thus re release into Indian market.   Hope it gets back into the form again in the country by following the local standards.
