On the occasion of completion of one year in office, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will participate in the programme called ‘Maha Sankalpam’ on Monday.
Naidu will address to a public meeting in the programme and give a speech on the various activities carried down by the TDP government during the whole year.
The hurdles faced by TDP in one year:
In fact, though Naidu tried to prove himself, there was an obstacle at the every level. Especially, the opposition parties have continuously given tight jolts to him throughout the year.
Loan waiver: The first Jolt, has come from the bank authorities, who refused to waive the loans of the farmers, when Naidu has requested to do them. But, later he could however, manage to clear the loans with great difficulty.
Hudhud cyclone: Naidu, who was worrying about the funds for the construction of capital, had to face Hudhud cyclone in Vizag, which was another big hurdle, faced by him. For the recovery of Vizag, he just received a partial support from the center. He almost had to bear the risk all alone, by trying to get the funds from the foreign countries.
Employee salaries: This was another major hurdle. First of all, out of the huge loss caused by the Hudhud cyclone, AP is facing the crisis of lack of funds. But as the TRS government announced a hike of 43% for the employees, with no other choice left, Naidu had to hike the salaries.
In fact, this reaction from Naidu, was noticed by TRS government and started targeting him, whenever there is a chance.
Hike in salaries of RTC employees: As the government employees salaries are hiked, RTC employees had protested against the government by stopping the RTC services. Again, with no choice left, he had to hike the salaries of RTC employees too.
Land pooling: For the construction of capital, Naidu decided to acquire the lands from the farmers, through the land pooling system. A few of the farmers supported to his idea and surrendered their lands, but others, who are against it, contacted Pawan Kalyan, who actually participated in the election campaigns of TDP.
It was then, Pawan was with the farmers and raised his voice against the TDP government. This was in fact considered as a red mark by the TDP officials and the fans, as the man (Pawan Kalyan) who once supported TDP, is now against the party. However, the disturbance between Pawan and Naidu was sorted out later.
Revanth Reddy’s ‘cash for vote’ scam:
Then comes, Revanth Reddy’s sensational scam, who was caught red handed through the spy cam. This in fact defamed the TDP party and after the scam, Naidu had to face the public out of great difficulty.
Cash bag at TDP minister Peethala Sujatha:
When a cash bag containing Rs. 10 lakhs worth was found in Peethala Sujatha’s house, it was taken as a warning from the TRS government that, the latter is eyeing on every activity of TDP and made them to spend sleepless nights.
Phone conversation of Naidu with Stephenson:
This is presently the hot topic of politics. The TDP officials denied the conversation, saying that it is not Naidu’s voice at all and a few others opined that, there is no such illegal thing revealed through the conversation. However, the time to time targets of the opposition parties are making TDP government to concentrate on those targets and thus giving, no time to think about the development of the state.
Fearless Naidu!
However, Naidu is still actively participating in a few of the developmental programmes. The government has already received the Singapore plan for the construction of AP capital and he conducted the foundation programmes for the construction. Hope the major and in fact, the prestigious project goes successful.
On the other side, let’s also hope that there would be no hurdles from the oppositions further, which can allow him to concentrate on the developmental activities of the AP state.
