He was in dark for giving us light

On Monday, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is celebrating his 65th birthday, especially in the position of Chief Minister after a long time. There are many hurdles he faced, to occupy this prestigious position and celebrating this occasion, lets get into his political life where he came across few difficulties, pains, oppositions, positive results, awards etc.

Beginning of Political life

To start with his political life, he is considered as the youngest member and the youngest minister, where he is just 28 when he was a minister for the first time. He initially was a Youth Congress as a student leader in Chandragiri near Tirupathi. During the time, he maintained good relation with Sanjay Gandhi.

Under 20% quota, for youth to run an office of MLA in Chandragiri constituency, Chandrababu Naidu received a nomination of Indian National congress( INC). In the beginning of his career, he won Technical education and cinematography minister position. He was then then youngest minister in Congress cabinet.

Meeting NTR was a Turning point

From there his career took a turn, which led to meet Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. That single meeting paved a long way for his successful political career till date. He joined in TDP, married N.T. Rama Rao's second daughter. Then proceeded to contest as CM from TDP and was elected as CM and successfully ruled for 9 years against many hurdles.

NTR's support for Chandrababu

In August 1984, when Nadedla Bhaskar Rao staged a coup, he went as a rally along with TDP MLA's and paraded them before president of India. NTR was reappointed as CM then. That was the incident where NTR was turned out and impressed with his son in law and then appointed as the general secretary of the party which further turned out to be a CM within no time.

Visionary mind :

Another appreciable attempt by Naidu is that his proposal called Vision 2020 which proposed universal, low-cost education and healthcare, Rural employment, Replacement of small investors with large corporations.

The greatest thing to be observed here is, The most inspiring universal leader proposed a similar kind of plan in 2002, but, Chandrababu Naidu got a thought of this many years of back.

Designed Hyderabad as IT hub :

He observed many local people turning to Bangalore for jobs treating it as a suitable place for IT and such other jobs. AP CM was  deeply disappointed with this ans then decided to set up a IT hub at Hyderabad  where there will not be any need to leave Hyderabad for.

He coined the slogan “Bye Bye Bangalore, hello Hyderabad” to achieve this aim. A software-development centre was established by Micro soft corporation in Hyderabad. Naidu encouraged other global IT companies (IBM, Dell, Deloitte, Computer Associates and Oracle) to move to Hyderabad, making presentations to global CEOs convincing them to invest in his state.

After regaining power:

After rigorous attempts and state bifurcations, Naidu was again chosen as CM of separate Andhra Pradesh and this time he is trying out his best to design the capital city of AP, which is considered as his primary target now. He is trying out his best to invite all the investors from foreign countries amidst of many obstacles.

Hope he succeeds in all his attempts and be blessed as a successful ruler for many years to go.
