Kerala SSLC Exam Results 2015 are expected to be declared on 20 April 2015 by Department of Education Kerala Board. The results will be declared by 4.00 pm in the evening. More than 4,00,000 students sat for the examination conducted from 9th March to 23rd March 2015.

This was decided at a meeting convened here on 8 April 2015, Wednesday by the government with teachers’ representatives to discuss modalities of the teachers’ package. Education Minister P  K Abdu Rabb said that the decision to extend the date was taken in view of a number of holidays and a strike on Wednesday which affected the valuation process. The government had earlier announced that the SSLC results will be declared on April 16. Candidates who had given the Kerala Class 10 examination 2015 in March will soon get to know their results updates on the official website or kerala10.jagranjosh.com. To get the results, aspirants are required to enter their roll number, application number and submit the respective data.

Education Minister P  K Abdu Rabb said that the decision to extend the date was taken in view of a number of holidays and a strike on Wednesday which affected the valuation process.

A total of 46,061 students appeared for the 10th State Board examination in the district Madurai. Besides, 1345 private candidates wrote the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) exam.

Around 16,456 students from Puducherry and 3,105 from Karaikal appeared for the SSLC examinations which were held from 19 March. According to an official press release, 8250 boys and 8206 girls from 234 government and private schools appeared in Puducherry region.

The Kerala Board SSLC results 2015 are expected to be announced on 20 April 2015. On 15th April 2014 and approximately 464000 students appeared for these examinations. It has also been proved that the number of students taking these examinations has increased and the pass percentage among both male and female has also improved. All these aspects are only because parents have now realised the importance of education and knowledge. The examinations for class 10th shall happen in the month of March. In 2014, around 4.42 lakh students have been declared eligible for higher studies in the Kerala Board SSLC examinations, the results of which were announced in a record 19 days on 15 April 2015. The success rate in 2014 touched 95.47 per cent, an increase of 1.3 percentage points over the last year’s figure.  In 2014, 14,802 students secured A+ in all subjects, 4,729 more than the corresponding figure for 2013. Last year Girl posted a higher pass per centage of 96.53 than boys who secured 94.44 per cent.  In the private stream, 2,666 out of 4,534 candidates cleared the examination, clocking a  pass percentage of 62.81. The pass percentages of Technical High School Leaving Certificate (THSLC) and SSLC (Hearing Impaired) exams were 96.49 and 99.17 per cent respectively. While THSLC (Hearing Impaired) recorded a pass percentage of 91.6, over 94 per cent students cleared the Art High School Leaving Certificate (AHSLC) examination.
