Samajwadi Party supremo, Mulayam Singh Yadav has sent about one lac invites for his grand nephew Tej Pratap Singh's pre-wedding ceremony which is scheduled on Saturday at Saifai village in Uttar Pradesh. The dignitaries include Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan, industrial big shots. Hefty arrangements are being planned and the guests will taste wide range of cuisines. Apart from national and international dishes, the menu also include authentic Uttar Pradesh dishes like bedai, baati-chokha and halwa soaked in desi ghee.
Tej Pratap Singh who is the Lok Sabha member from Mainpuri will marry Raj Laxmi, the daughter of former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi on February 26th in New Delhi. For the pre-wedding ceremony, Narendra Modi has confirmed his presences and with high profile guests attending, the prime minister’s Special Protection Group [SPG] has already visited Saifai to asses the security preparations being made.
Bollywood actors, singers, all union ministers, chief ministers of all states and bureaucrats have been sent invitations too. There could also be live performance and a bomb being spent on the ceremony. The village Saifai has totally transformed over the last few days.
