About 21 people reportedly died of Swine Flu in Telangana state while there are about 50 new cases recorded in Osmania and Gandhi hospitals. The government of Telangana has stepped into action to contain this flu and CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has spoke to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide necessary medical assistance. KCR fumed over the health department officials for responding late and directed them to take according steps.

Union minister Dattatreya is also reviewing the situation in the state along with deputy chief minister of Telangana, T Rajaiah. Dattatreya spoke to Union Health Minister JP Nadda and got an assurance to get ample medical support at the earliest. While Telangana Health secretary, Suresh Chanda flew to the national capital and will submit a detailed report to the officials.

Swine Flu is causing severe tension in Hyderabad and Mahabubnagar districts. The officials expect Swine Flu cases could more in number.
