Finally, the Election Commission of India [ECI] has acknowledged YSR Congress party as an recognized party in Andhra Pradesh. Election Commission Secretary Pramod Kumar has released a statement regarding the same and from here on, YSRCP will be considered as a recognized party.

EC also allocated Fan symbol as a permanent one for all the members who will be contesting from the party hereafter. YSRCP leaders have thanked EC for acknowledging the party and also breathed smooth as many MLAs and MPs are heard to be changing their flags.

YSRCP is making efforts to stop leaders from leaving the party and is likely to issue whip soon. So far two MPs have already joined TDP but the uncertainty is still on. To end all these ruckus, YSRCP may issue whip soon, added an insider of the party.
