Modi to retain Defence, No Advani, Joshi?

With hours left for Narendra Modi swearing ceremony, the tension among BJP and its allies MPs is building as cabinet berths are yet to be confirmed. Even Rashtrapati Bhavan sources are not revealing the details of council of ministers list following the instructions.

However we hear from the highly placed sources that Narendra Modi is likely to retain the Defence Ministry and Arun Jaitley may help Modi in this ministry.

Modi is expected to have around 45 ministers - over 24 Cabinet rank ministers, around 10 ministers with independent charge and the rest ministers of state. But LK Advani and Murali Manohar Joshi may not inducted in the council as Modi is hear to be following the principle of 'Minimum Government and Maximum Governance' and below 75 years.

Arun Jaitley for Finace, Sushma Swaraj for Foreign Affairs, Ravi Shankar Prasad for Law, Harsh Vardhan for Health are confirmed so far.
