Congress insults Telugu people everytime: Modi

BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi has alleged that Congress insults Telugu people every now and then citing bifurcation of the state as the best example. At an election campaign in Guntur district Modi claimed that these elections in Seemandhra will change fate of the region and these elections are not for power.

Modi started his speech in Telugu to attract the crowd and he also recalled the moments when Guntur women protested by not paying taxes during the British regime. “Under Sardar Patel's leadership, Guntur farmers went to host a Satyagrah and this region women protest against the British. Now I came here to appeal to you that the ongoing elections will decide your fate and future. Congress has been in power for a decade in state and national level, they have looted everything,” said Modi.

Modi also showered few promises at this rally and added the BJP led NDA government will do all the justice to Seemandhra region if voted into power. Modi the supported TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu as CM of Seemandhra region.
