Malkajgiri Parliament constituency is a hot cake for the all political parties in the present elections. Leaders of many parties want to contest from here but till yesterday Telangana Rashtra Samithi [TRS] party had no candidates to represent Malkajgiri. In a most daring move, TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao is heard to be in plans to contest from here.
Accordingly, TRS party has done its survey on KCR's candidature and he got second place in the survey. Discussing the possibilities with partymen, KCR said “I want to dare and if not we can't win majority seats. People who say TRS is weak in Hyderabad, can be proved wrong if I win the elections.” Also TRS party is eyeing to win seven Assembly seats which come under Malkajgiri Parliamentary constituency.
However, KCR is contemplating to contest from Secunderabad segment too. A survey is yet to be conducted from here and depending upon the results of survey and analyzing both the Parliament segments reports, KCR's berth could be confirmed.
