Hero Akkineni Nagarjuna who met Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi yesterday has ruled out his and wife Amala's political entry. As the speculations grew Nag clarified to the media that he won't be joining politics but would support Modi as future Prime Minister of the country. “I came here as I got invitation from Mr. Venkaiah Naidu to meet Modi. Gujarat stands first in development in our country and if Modi becomes the next PM, India might witness the same development is what I believe,” said Nag.

Clarifying about Amala's political entry, “myself and Amala are not joining politics. My family is always away from politics but if any party approaches me for help for the benefit of the people, then I would certainly help in all sorts,” added the Greekuveerudu hero.

BJP insiders say that Nag has asked Vijaywada MP seat for Amala and Modi responded positively to Nag. As there is lot of time to select the candidates for Lok Sabha [LS], BJP is planning to rope more Tollywood celebrities in LS race.
