Telangana Rashtra Samithi Chief K Chandrasekhar Rao has written a letter to President of India regarding the Ordinance approved the Central government over the Polavaram project. The letter mentions TRS opposing the ordinance to merge several villages of Khammam district in Seemandhra region and Tribals would lose their identity.

Vijayashanti slams KCR

Meanwhile, expelled TRS MP Vijayashanti who joined Congress recently fired on KCR over the merge decision. She said, “it is just because of me that KCR decided not merge with Congress? Then I would resign to the party. KCR has promised that he would make a Dalit, the chief minister of Telangana and now he is not at all talking about it.”

Vijayashanti also demanded the KCR should stick to his words and merge with Congress party. “Sonia Gandhi has delivered Telangana as per promise and KCR should also do. I was handled badly in TRS, they did not even issue a showcause notice to me and directly suspended me from party,” added Vijayashanti.
