Expelled Congress MP from Seemandhra region Lagadapati Rajagopal finally expressed his displeasure over the pepper spray incident in Parliament yesterday. Speaking to the media in the national capital Lagadapati said, “I regret for what happened yesterday in Lok Sabha, my act is condemnable. But I had no other choice as a mob of MPs were attacking us and in view of protection I had to spray.”

Vijayawada MP Rajagopal sprayed pepper spray on his fellow MPs who were guarding Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde while the introduction of Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Bill aka Telangana Bill. Right from Media, many political parties and public organizations have called the incident a blot in democracy. But Rajagopal did not apologize yesterday and with huge criticism surrounding him, he had again no other choice rather than to condemn the act.
