Ashok Babu wins APNGOs elections

Ashok Babu and his panel has won the APNGOs association elections 2014, with huge majority and is likely to retain the President position for next three years. Out of 835 votes that were polled, Ashok Babu got 630 and his rival Bashir got only 174 votes. Ashok Babu has been playing a key role in United AP agitations and this led him to become a big leaders among the NGOs.

The elections were conducted yesterday and results were announced at 9 PM last night. Bashir was supported by YSR Congress party as they want to take over United AP agitations and Ashok is backed by none other than CM Kiran Kumar Reddy. Speaking on the victory, Ashok Babu said he would intensify the United AP agitations and at any cost he and his panel would not entertain bifurcation of the state.
