Jagan Gets Akhilesh Yadav's Support

YSR Congress party President YS Jagan met the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav on Friday and could get his support in stopping the state bifurcation bill called "Andhra Pradesh Reorganizational Bill 2013".

Akhilesh Yadav assured Jagan that he will certainly oppose the bifurcation bill as he doesn’t believe in the bifurcations of the states as it is not a solution to deal with the backwardness of any region. The Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav says that the state of Uttaranchal carved out from UP has still issues unsolved for that matter.

Akhilesh Yadav says that the issues raised by Jagan in the bifurcation of the state of Andhra Pradesh have to be discussed in the Parliament before taking a final step.

Jagan raised a point before Akhilesh with reference to the Article 3 of the Indian Constitution that the bifurcation of AP will become precedent and it may lead to nationwide problems later.

The extensive tour of YS Jagan meeting West Bengal Chief Minister Mamta Benarjee, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jaya Lalitha, DMK chief Karunanidhi and leaders of BJP, CPI, CPI (M), JD (U) and National Conference shows the efforts made by him in keeping the State undivided.
