As the news has come out that the Center stepping forward for the bifurcation of the State by merging two more districts of Rayalaseema- Chittore and Kurnool to the proposed Telangana State in addition to the 10 districts demanded by the Telangana leaders, the Telangana Rashtra Samiti President K Chandrasekhara Rao called for bandh on December 5.

Rallies and demonstrations are programmed to take place on December 4 against Rayala Telangana.  TRS is firm on its stand that it wants only the Telangana districts before 1956 consisting of 10 districts with Hyderabad as its Capital.  

TRS also says that in case Rayala Telangana is formed, the irrigation projects started without legal sanctity will get legitimized.
