The Prime Minister Manmohan said today after the all party meeting conducted by the Speaker Meira Kumar that the Government is committed to formation of Telangana. He also urged the parties to make best use of the Parliament session in the winter that is short.
The winter session will last only for 12 days during which time all the issues as per the agenda have to be discussed. That is why the Prime Minister asked the parties to make the best and optimal use of the session.
BJP demanded Bill on Telangana and discussion on price rise. About the Telangana formation, the prime minister said that the Government is committed to do it. He also assured that the law pertaining to the formation of a new State will be followed by the Government.
The Prime Minister sought cooperation of all the parties in the endeavor of smooth functioning of the two houses.
BJP expressed that the party also wants Telangana Bill be passed along with the Lokpal Bill.
