The Congress party Spokesman for the State of Andhra Pradesh N.Tulasi Reddy expressed his doubts about formation of Telangana State. In his opinion there are many hurdles and Constitutional obligations to fulfill which are not easy to overcome. He says that there are some conventions set by previous Governments which cannot be bypassed.
Tulasi Reddy says that so far no bifurcation is done without consent of MLAs and it will pose problem in the State Assembly when the Telangana proposal comes for discussion. He strongly believes that the Bill for bifurcation will have to be kept aside in case Assembly rejects it.
Tulasi Reddy has expressed his confidence that the State of Andhra Pradesh will remain as a united State of Andhra Pradesh the way it is at present. He hopes that the Center will abide by the federal norms of the biggest democratic country in the interests of National integrity.
