MIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi pounced on Telangana leaders while talking in the press meet today at Hyderabad. He called Telangana Congress leaders as jokers whose eye is only on the CM’s seat. He said that they want to leave the control on law order to the Center that is not right. He said that the Telangana Congress leaders have no right to talk about Hyderabad.
He said that the Telangana Note is not clear on Hyderabad that leaves many doubts in his mind. As per him, Punjab Haryana style of functioning is not acceptable. He questioned how the High court will be divided. He demanded a guarantee from the center that the protection of Seemandhra people will be taken up constitutionally.
Asaduddin demanded clarity from the Center on law and order, revenue and municipal administration. He also demanded National status to Pranahita-Chevella project as an acute shortage of drinking water is expected in 15 years.
He expressed his fears that RSS will gain strength in the State if the State is bifurcated. He opined that the development of Hyderabad will be arrested and it fails in attracting new investments.
Asaduddin wants the Center to give total clarity in the Telangana Note about the capital city of Hyderabad and says firmly that making it is not at all acceptable to MIM.
