Million March in Hyderabad!

APNGO's Association President Ashok Babu spoke in the "Save Andhra Pradesh" Meeting at Kakinada.  The meeting was attended by the speakers and the general public in thousands in spite of the heavy rains due to cyclone.  People heard him with holding umbrellas in their hands.

Ashok Babu demanded an explanation on what basis a decision to divide the State is taken by the Government.  He said that it is the responsibility of the Government to explain the reason to the people of the State why it is going ahead with the process of bifurcation of the State.  He said that no political leader is in a position to tell what really is happening.  

Ashok Babu said that the city of Hyderabad belongs to all the people of the State.  Only to register the fact that it belongs to all of the people living in the State of Anhdra Pradesh, the Bill for bifurcation is opposed a “Million March” will be conducted at Hyderabad if Bill is introduced in the Parliament.

Ashok Babu reiterated in his speech that the decision of the political parties is not acceptable to the people of the State if an action such as the bifurcation is taken just on assumptions but not on fact.  He assured that the process of bifurcation of the State will be obstructed till elections in 2014 and it is the responsibility of the people of the State afterwards to ‘Save Andhra Pradesh’.

He suggested that the vote should be franchised in favor of a person but not the parties.  He said that the political parties may merge with other parties later.  He said that if you have a good leader in your constituency; let him win irrespective of the party he belongs to.  

Ashok Babu said that he is indebted to the love and affection shown by the 5 crores of people in Seemandhra.
