Couldn't Stop Phailin But the Cyclone of Bifurcation Could be!

The Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy visited cyclone hit areas in Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Visakha districts and assured them that the cyclonic State bifurcation will be stopped although the Phailin cyclone could not be stopped.

As the elaborate preparations for the rescue operation were done and as he could convince the striking employees to join duties for the sake of the people for whom they are fighting, Kiran Kumar Reddy has earned some good point among the people of Seemandhra.  Moreover he has been telling right from the beginning that he is for the united State and strongly opposed its bifurcation.

In the public meetings he was invited to the dais by the speakers addressing him as the “Samaikyandhra Simham”.  He said that the bifurcation process will be stopped successfully with the support of the people of Seemandhra.  He reiterated that he has the strength of stopping the State from getting divided as it is less powerful than a natural calamity of a Cyclone that is beyond his strength to stop for which he received big applause from the public.

Addressing the farmers he assured that they sustained a great loss from the cyclone which will be compensated by the Government.  But he received more response to that of his assurance to stop the bifurcation than for the compensation. He also announced a package to the fishermen at Srikakulam.

Kiran Kumar Reddy later told the party men that the bifurcation will not happen.  For their question that some Ministers are expressing their belief that the decision of the Cabinet will be implemented, he replied that the high command is doing its part but it doesn’t mean that the bifurcation is over.  He assured that the Bill will be defeated in the Assembly and that point is making the high command to go for second thoughts about bifurcation.
