The Police Commissioner Anurag Sharma issued orders prohibiting rallies and public meetings near High Court and in the surrounding areas starting from today till December 8.
These prohibitory orders apply to the following roads:
City College cross road to Nayapul road, Nayapul to High Court via Madina Circle and Muslim Jung Bridge to High Court road.
In the wake of Dussehra and Diwali festivals and also keeping the recent incidents of clashes between Telangana and Samaikya supporting lawyers the prohibitory orders might have been passed. As the Government is pushing the Telangana issue with a fast pace, the authorities might have expected that disputes also may arise on the developments.
