Congress party is going to tour in the 9 districts of Telangana region from 18th onwards.
Although the AICC timed well with the announcement of its decision on Telangana Statehood, delays in implementations are giving room to TRS to make use of the situation and turn the events to its favor. The Congress party made all the efforts to show that it is the Congress party that has been working for long to form Telangana. But TRS party which claims that the party emerged only to get Telangana State for the people of Telangana and it is achieved by the long fight with the ruling party.
Congress party that has anyhow lost credibility in Seemandhra has been aiming to strengthen the party in Telangana. But the persistent Seemandhra movement is slowing down the process of bifurcation. Now, in order to get a firm hold politically on the region for which the whole exercise is done on Telangana with a stubborn move, the party envisaged that TRS will get strong and Congress will lose at both the regions and it is time that the good will is gained by campaigning in the Telangana region.
TRS President KCR did not mention the name of Congress party in the efforts or process of getting Telangana statehood in the recent public meeting conducted by Telangana JAC. KCR even thanked BJP for its support to the Telangana movement but did not mention even the name Sonia Gandhi who has been stubbornly sticking to the process of formation of Telangana State.
In this situation Congress party naturally wants to get total credit of Telangana particularly when it is getting total rejection from Seemandhra. When TRS is ready gear up for the elections by claiming the achievement as its own, Congress party has nothing left now except going to the people of Telangana.
Congress party has already given an account in the Cabinet Note of what happened since 2004 in the direction of formation of Telangana. But only the personal explanations in the meetings will get credibility. Knowing this, Congress party is planning for Jaitrayatras- a success tour in the region of Telangana.
The Minister Jana Reddy talked to the media persons on Monday and revealed the plan of the Congress party to conduct public meetings in the success tours in Telangana districts and finally conducting a grand meeting at Hyderabad.
Jana Reddy thanked Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Digvijay Singh, Ahmed Patel, Shinde and Gulam Nabi Azad for accepting for the formation of Telangana in the Cabinet Meet.
