More Strikes and Protests For Samaikyandhra

As the Congress party is adamant and sticking to its decision to bifurcate the State, the protests in Seemandhra are still going on without let up.  Samaikyandhra supporters are not budging an inch from their firm demand to roll back the Congress party’s decision and to keep the State united.

Secretariat employees those belong to Seemandhra are going on strike from today.  Secretariat employees Forum Chairman U.Murali Krishna said that about 1800 employees from all cadre right from the Attendant to that of Officer.

Murali called all the employees of Seemandhra to join the strike and also requested all of them to attend the Samaikyandhra public meeting on 7th at Hyderabad and make it successful.  He said that the protests of Seemandhra people made Sonia Gandhi think again about the bifurcation.

A JAC was formed yesterday for the Teachers of Seemandhra Polytechnic Colleges.  They have decided to go on an indefinite strike from 5th onwards for Samaikyandhra.  

Seemandhra Congress leaders are going to protest today.  Seemandhra Congress MLAs and MLCs Forum Convener Sailajanath said that they are going to stage protests at the Gandhi statue in the Assembly in support to the Samaikyandhra movement.
