Much feared tussle started at Hyderabad on Sunday.

Seemandhra lawyers held meeting at AP NGO Home in Abids, Hyderabad on Sunday at 4.00pm.  The meeting was attended by the APNGO President Ashok Babu and City President PVV Satyanarayana.

The agenda was to discuss about the public meeting to be held at LB Stadium on 7th September.  But it was disrupted by the Telangana Lawyers who entered the venue shouting slogans in favor of Telangana.

They picked up a heated discussion with the Seemandhra lawyers demanding Seemandhra people not to make problems now after getting Telangana with a long fight and great sacrifices.  They said that all the opportunities in the employment and properties were looted by Seemandhras over the years.  They used foul language and insulted lady participants there.

The situation was brought under control by the police who arrived there after getting the news and arrested 13 Telangna lawyers who later were released on bail.

The attack on Seemandhra lawyers was condemned by TDP and YSRCP leaders.  The Seemandhra protesters said that the Telangana leaders’ promises of taking care of Seemandhras and to protect their properties and lives after bifurcation proved to be dubious.

Ashok Babu said that with every provocation, the Samaikyandhra movement will get more strengthened.  A woman High Court advocate Jagarlamudi Kotiswari Devi objected the language used by the Telangana lawyers unmindful of the presence of women while disrupting the meeting.
