Union Minister Kavuri Sambasiva Rao is an ardent supporter of the Samaikhyandhra movement. While he supports the APNGOs strike, he had maintained a distance until now. With the Congress making one blunder after another, the minister has finally come out in protest of their tactics.

Kavuri expressed to the media that he warned the Congress high command of United Andhra violence if the party takes a decision favoring bifurcation. He has pledged his absolute support to the APNGOs strike, noting that the government employees are not taking this effort for personal benefits.

He made it clear that both Telangana and Seemandhra people should be peaceful with any decision and that the party has the responsibility to do justice to both sides.

Demanding a democratic and fair decision on the Telangana - Seemandhra issue from the Congress high command, Kavuri threatened to resign from his post as Union Minister if a decision is not forthcoming.
