Telugu Desam Party MP and Cinema artist Shiva Prasad yesterday made a dramatic presentation in support of Samaikyandhra movement.

He went to the Parliament with a makeup like Lord Krishna who in the epic story of Mahabharata goes to the Kauravas before Kurukshetra war to come to a compromise to evade war between Kauravas and Pandavas.  

Shiva Prasad said after coming out from the Parliament that like Krishna he sang some stanzas of that occasion from Mahabharata with modifications to suit the present situation asking Sonia Gandhi to consider her decision about bifurcation of the State of Andhra Pradesh.

Shiva Prasad was wearing a head band, a chain, a Sudarshan Chakra and flute like Srikrishna and went in to the Speaker’s well in the parliament.

Shiva Prasad said that a protest of this kind was appreciated by everyone in the Parliament as it did register the protest but did not disrupt the Parliament proceedings.
