Agitation of Seemandhra politicians boils and burns

Before it was Telangana, now it is Seemandhra. Protests and Bandhs mar the state all over. While Telangana may have reasons to celebrate, it has come at the cost of aggression in Andhra and Rayalseema regions.

Politicians in particular are fighting for their rights, representing Seemandhra. Protesting over the rights of Seemandhra region, Congress MPs from Seemandhra have joined forces with TDP Seemandhra MPs to create considerable noise at the Parliament.

The monsoon session's first day turned out to be a battlefield with many Telangana opposers obstructing the proceedings. A dharna was first observed by MPs CM Ramesh, Konakalla Narayana, Shiva Prasad, Sujana Coudary and Modugula Venugopala Reddy at the Parliament gate number 1.

Inside, support came in the form of Congress MPS Harsha Kumar, Lagadapati Raja Gopal, Kanumuri Bapi Raju and SPY Reddy, who protested near the speaker's podium, which led the session's adjournment.

The anger of Seemandhra politicians is spilling over.
