In the Triangular one day series of cricket played at Queen's Park Oval Ground, in Port of Spain last night between West Indies and Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka won the match with 29 runs over West Indies.

Sri Lanka first took the batting and scored 219 runs in 41 overs for a loss of 8 wickets setting a target of 220 to West Indies to win the match.

But, West Indies could score only 190 runs in 41 overs.

The continuity of the match was disturbed due to heavy downpour.  The match that started on Sunday was continued on Monday and the overs were limited to 41.

Today, India is going to play with Sri Lanka.  After losing two matches in a row, India could sustain with a thumping victory.  As such, today’s play became important to get into finals.  The match will start today at 7.00 pm.
