Tibetan monks pay their respects on Dalai Lama's birthday

China is quite on 6th June, marking their respect for the Dalai Lama on his birthday. Tibetians are making this occasion a quite one, fearing a backlash from the Chinese authorities.

The birth place of the spiritual leader Dalai Lama is in the Qinghai province, in Takster village. Tibetan monks are celebrating with silence inside their homes, as Beijing has called the 78-year-old exiled spiritual leader a "wolf in monk's robes".
