The proposed public meeting of Telangana Congress on 30th is facing difference of opinion among the leaders.

Some are in the opinion that the meeting will boost up the spirit of the Telangana Congress cadre as they are in an inert state for a long time.  The meeting if successfully conducted will be an indicator to the party high command that it is high time that a decision is taken on Telangana issue. 

But some leaders are in the opinion that the issue is in the court of party’s high command and only they have to make an announcement.  In that situation, they wonder, what good a meeting will do?

This has been the problem of the T Congress leaders, right from the beginning of the Telangana sentiment caught momentum and mounting high where as the party leadership at Delhi has been playing cool.  Whenever they try to tell the people of Telangana they represent that they are for the movement, they never get support either from the State or the Center.  Time to time they get poking from TRS in the shape of calling them Telangana traitors warning them that they will not be allowed to enter the interiors of Telangana by the people of Telangana.   

Even now their dilemma is what to do and what not.  If they don’t take up an activity they will just be forgotten and erased from the political scene.  If they want to do something they do not have a strong leadership to get them united.  And the news of high level meetings on Telangana at Delhi is stopping them to think again before doing something that may hurt the feelings of the party leaders which they cannot afford after a long wait.
