BJP senior leader Bandaru Dattatrey was arrested at RTC Cross Roads.  The workers of the party shouted slogans for the victory of Telangana.

TDP Telangana Forum Convener Errabelli Dayakara Rao, TDP leader Kothakota Dayakar and other TDP MLAs protesting at the main entrance of the Assembly building were arrested and transported in police vehicles.  

JAC Chairman Prof.Kodandaram who was marching to Assembly was stopped by the police at Ashoknagar Cross Road.  Then Kodandaram sat on the road in protest.  At that time JAC workers pelted stones for which police answered with teargas shells.  Prof. Kodandaram was arrested there.  

MP Vijaya Shanti is arrested when she was trying to get in to the Assembly Building.  

Doctors of the Gandhi Hospital who started from Gandhi Hospital to Indira Park as a rally were arrested by police.

As many petitions were filed on the arrests of the leaders in Chalo Assembly program, High Court ordered DGP of the State that CrPC rules should be followed in arresting leaders.
