The Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy appointed Gita Reddy as Home Minister.  She is the second woman to take Home Ministry. Orders are issued today to that effect.   

As the former Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy resigned in the light of charge sheet filed by CBI against her, the ministry that is left unmanned is given to the Cabinet Minister Gita Reddy.  

The other Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao's portfolio of Road and Buildings is given to Pitani Satyanarayana.  Dharmana also resigned because of the charge sheet on him.  

Sabita and Dharmana were involved in the cases connected to YS Jagan's disproportionate assets cases.
