State of affairs of the State

Congress MPs of the State are scheduled to meet with Congress party Vice President Rahul Gandhi at Party office in Parliament building to discuss the political state of affairs of the State.  All MPs alongwith other senior party leaders with a total number of 40, are going to participate in the meeting with Rahul Gandhi.  There is no fixed agenda for the meeting but it is scheduled for 2 hours to prolong in which MPs will talk their heart out with Rahul Gandhi.

Two days ago Gulam Nabi Azad met the MPs at Hyderabad to have advance information about what they are going to talk about. The role of Rahul Gandhi today may not be different from that of Azad to hear MPs side of the story.  The idea is to take information from AP but not to tell and the least not to give any commitments of any sort.  MPs are expected to express their feelings freely and give feed back to the party so that an assessment can be made at the Center.

The meeting is also going to assuming importance in the wake of the thumping victory of the party in the neighboring State of Karnataka.  Congress party in the State of late was having doubts about the party’s winning chances in 2014 because so many issues in the State.  But the victory in Karnataka is certain to give an upper hand to the party leaders at Center to give some firm advices at the end of the meeting requesting for a unity in the party to achieve at home what is achieved in Karnataka.
