Congress to drop Lagadapati?

Vijayawada Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal's constant challenges really seemed to have posed a challenge to him! With Lagadapati stating time and again that he could stand from any constituency and win the Lok Sabha seat, Congress high command is now planning to field Purandareshwari from Vijayawada constituency. It is known that TDP is growing more popular in Vijayawada and Krishna district is native place of legendary NTR. So, observers said that it would be a right move if Congress high command fields someone from NTR's family itself in Vijayawada. That way Purandareshwari will have cent per cent chances to win from Vijayawada.

Now, what's the position of Lagadapati Rajagopal. Will he be asked to contest from Telangana region? If yes, then Congress high command will surely have to lose hopes on victory. Will it give him Nellore constituency? But then observers said that YSR Congress is in full swing in Nellore district and Lagadapati is apparently arch rival of Jaganmohan Reddy. In all these conditions, will Congress high command drop Lagadapati in 2014 elections? If Lagadapati, as he claims that he a loyalist of Congress part, will continue to serve Congress party is he's not given any ticket in the upcoming elections? One has to keep his fingers and toes crossed!
