Jagan case: CBI to submit supplementary charge sheet on Tuesday

The Central Bureau of Investigation-CBI-which has been probing Jaganmohan Reddy's illegal assets case has told the CBI court (that tries this case) that a supplementary charge sheet to the first charge sheet in this case would be filed on April 2 (Tuesday). Meanwhile, minister Dharmana Prasada Rao has today appeared before the CBI court in connection with the same case.

How many supplementary charge sheets CBI filed?

CBI has so far filed as many as four supplementary or additional charge sheets. This one is going to be the fifth charge sheet and sources said that this fifth charge sheet would become a crucial one in Jaganmohan Reddy's illegal assets case.

What would it contain?

The contents of charge sheet cannot be speculated for sure. However, if we have to go by what observers say, CBI is most likely to include all other matters related to illegal assets case and less about Jaganmohan Reddy. They said that KVP Rama Chandra Rao's name is likely to be included in the case. Also, it has to be mentioned here that CBI grilled KVP at Dilkusha Guest House in Hyderabad a couple of days ago based on the statement given by Sureedu (one of the close aides of late YS Rajashekara Reddy).

Whatever KVP Rama Chandra Rao (a close friend of late YSR) mentioned during the interrogation was reportedly video recorded by the CBI. The same is most likely to be presented to CBI court by CBI sleuths. Further, CBI reportedly took some key details from the government about the various positions and portfolios of KVP during YSR regime. These details are also apparently going to become crucial in the new additional charge sheet.

All in all, one has to wait till tomorrow to know whether KVP's name would be included in the additional charge sheet or not. AndhraWishesh has been closely following this case, so do visit this space regularly to catch more updates on jagan illegal assets case.
