YSR Congress leader Y S Sharmila had a minor interruption to her padayatra after she was hit with a stone on the head during her walks in Narasaraopeta today on Wednesday.
A man, named Maruti who was at the site of the incident, near the Guntur Road in Narasaraopet. Sharmila was only just starting back from the Old Bus Stand after talking to a gathering and going to the Guntur Road.
The sister of the YSRC president, was struck by a person called Maruti near the Vali Theater, Kallagunta Village in Nakirekallu mandalam, Guntur. She now has a minor injury on her head. Security swung into action immediately and grounded the victim. He was later surrendered at the Two Town police station.
