Hyderabad Blasts case to be handed over to NIA

There are still no solid leads on the Feb 21 twin blasts in Hyderabad that claimed over 16 lives as police continue to grope in the dark. National Investigation Agency has said that it would start looking into the case on Wednesday considering that the blasts were not just a concern for the state bur for the whole nation with possible connections and ramifications outside the country too.

It was certain that the Indian Mujahideen were involved in the blasts, many detective agencies working on the case have mentioned that there could have been the hands of other terrorist organizations too. While many teams of the NIA have been deployed to look for clues all around the country, they had restricted access to high-profile terrorist who were locked up in jail.

The Center is already expectant that the case would be handed over to the NIA soon. It is likely that Kiran Kumar Reddy, Chief Minister of AP and the home minister Sabita Indra Reddy meet up with DGP V Dinesh Reddy before they hand over the case.

As of now, though the police have been investigating in several areas of the case with little progress. With the case being handed over to bigger agencies like NIA, it is probable that the process would be expedited.
