CPI is one the political parties in the state, which has supported Telangana statehood issue and extended its support to even TRS party as the latter stood for the case. But now it looks like rift came in between these two parties? What could be the reason behind the difference despite the common agenda? CPI state secretary Narayana recently told the press that it was due to KCR's inconsistency that actually delayed the carvation of Telangana state.

Holding KCR responsible for the turmoil, he alleged that it was a wrong statement for KCR to state that he would merge TRS with Congress if Telangana is carved out. It was due to these statements that Telangana issue became a lighter one for Congress party. Also, he said the bifurcation issue was not just a matter of these two parties (TRS and Congress). Anyway, in the wake of TRS's offer to merge with Congress, what decision the latter takes has become an interesting question now.
