The city woke up to a rude shock when the police relentlessly raided a few massage parlors in Hyderabad after getting firm information that they were thriving on flesh trade.

In simultaneous operations, sleuths raided various massage parlors in Yella Reddy Guda, Colony, Ameerpet areas and arrested seven people, including two organizers and five young women. These areas were having close proximity to affluent residencies, like Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills.

After the flourishing of Hi-tech city in the capital, many skin traders opened up shop in disguise of escort services, massage parlors and even advertised unhindered on social networking sites. Many of them used the print media also to showcase their publicity.

After all you need a land line number and a copy of the photo identity of the land line holder to place an advertisement in any newspaper.

And mostly these traders attract gullible rich youth with ads under Massage services, escort services or friendship clubs. Of course not all are into the trade but many are, claim sources.

After continuous raids since last evening, cops could get hold of the accused in 'Monalisa Spa' at Yella Reddy Guda.

Most of these businesses are located in the rich apartments, they have lucrative earnings from wealthy and loyal customers. (Wishesh AarKay)
