TDP's new scheme is to equip girls with self defense which shall be taught to them in all institutions, free of cost. This was revealed by the TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu during his trekking at Krishna District on his massive walkathon, Vastunna Mee Kosa, on Tuesday.
The leader started today's padayatra after addressing a group of students at the All Saints High School in the district. He urged the parents not to show disparity between the 'Son' and the 'Daughter.' By following this a healthy outlook, tomorrow's nationals would be more dignified.
The leader also slammed the ruling Congress party over the dismal ways of handling the irrigation and power crisis. The leader urged the government to immediately release water for agricultural purposes. Mr Babu also ascertained that corruption had its roots since the late Chief Minister Y S Rajashekar Reddy had been in power.
The atmosphere in the district, which was dominated by community based TDP supporters, was jubilant and wore a festive look. In fact one village in the district had laid a two km stretch with natural flowers bed. This was the regards the district public had for the leader.
