Jaipur Congress meet to decide AP's fate?

The Jaipur Congress meet 'Chinthan Baithak Conclave', to decide the fate of this state. It is here top leaders of the party are having a brain storming session to unravel the solution for the state bifurcation. However the meet would discuss many other issues pertaining to the Congress ruled states. Leaders of various states have landed in the 'city of roses.'

As for as Andhra is concerned it would be T issue that is on top of the itinerary in the plenary that shall commence from this afternoon (January 18). By all means this event shall decide how to sway officially on the issue.

Meanwhile Seemandhra leaders and the Telangana leaders have sent in contradicting feelers of what they seek at the meet. The fast spreading speculation about the Congress plans are that the state might be divided into three parts with Hyderabad being made as an union territory. However a clarity would be visible at the end of the day, at least to a certain extent.

The top trio of the state Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, PCC Chief Botsa Sathyanarayana and Union Minister Chiranjeevi are to represent the state in this meet. This would be presided by the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, Congress led UPA supremo Sonia Gandhi and Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi.

There has been heavy ice storm in the city since morning and the venue is all wet at the moment spoiling the decorations made by party activists. (Wishesh AarKay)
