Hyderabadis have good time on Sankranti

Roads of Hyderabad wore a deserted look with people, who settled in Hyderabad, are leaving for their native places in coastal parts of Andhra for celebrating Sankranti festival. Every year during Sankranti festival, the city will turn peaceful, there will be no traffic jams and no pollution. However, situation at central bus stand and railway stations will turn chaotic as maximum number of people visit the places and they mainly commute by buses and trains.

While Sankranti is a special festival to people especially in coastal parts of Andhra Pradesh, not to forget that Hyderabadis too enjoy the day to the core. Witnessing the peace in the city without too much traffic and pollution itself is a gift to Hyderabad that don't take place every now and then. In fact, our sources said that Hyderabadis wait for Sankranti just to see the beautiful Hyderabad with no traffic and pollution.
