The Andhra Pradesh police decided to conducted medical tests on  Akbaruddin Owaisi, who claimed that he was unable to attend the police interrogation due to ill-health. In fact, Mr Owaisi, MIM legislator, was supposed to attend the police interrogation in connection with the derogatory speeches that he gave at Nirmal of Nizamabad district in the last week of December.

Akbaruddin Owaisi, advocates told Nirmal police about the ill-health and sought four days time for his personal appearance. Meanwhile Akbaruddin moved a petition in the court and prayed that cases filed against him be quashed. In the wake of all these incidents, the police finally decided to conduct tests on Akbaruddin Owaisi at famous Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad. The police have summoned notices on Akbaruddin over the same. One has to wait and watch whether Akbaruddin Owaisi would attend for the medical tests.
