MIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi has blamed Congress and BJP for the cases that were being filed against his brother and party legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi. Asaduddin has said that his party MIM was not against any particular religion or caste. Further, he has stressed that it would be tough for BC s and scheduled castes in case they are not elected to the houses. Speaking about Akbaruddin Owaisi, Asaduddin has said that the people who elected Akbaruddin Owaisi are going to protect him.

It may be noted that Congress apparently remained mum over the hate speech of Akbaruddin Owaisi until Times Now lashed out over the issue and questioned what chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and DGP were doing. A social activist, Shabnam Hazmi was the first person to file a case against Akbaruddin Owaisi at the Parliamentary Street police station in New Delhi over his inflammatory speech.

Notably, Akbaruddin Owaisi who was not available after cases were filed against him has returned to Hyderabad from London this morning. His counsels met Nirmal police on behalf of him in connection with the cases.
