Hate speech of Akbaruddin: BJP leaders meet Governor

BJP state president Kishan Reddy and a few leaders from the party today met the Governor ESL Narasimhan and handed over a memorandum of request seeking action against MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi. Kishan Reddy has mentioned in his letter about the statements made by Akbaruddin during Nizamabad tour and stressed that those statements were against the democracy and therefore sought stringent action against him.

Kishan Reddy has also alleged that Congress Government in the state didn't respond on the issue, which was the reason why many advocates and other persons in social service had to approach various police stations and courts seeking action against Akbaruddin. Also, the party demanded a committee to study these statements.

Earlier, BJP reportedly even wrote to the Election Commission of India requesting for de-recognizing MIM party over the inflammatory speeches made by its legislator Akbaruddin Owaisi. It may be noted that criminal cases were filed against Akbaruddin under various sections of IPC at various police stations across the country including Parliamentary Street police station.
